Not only did Nicholas organise our hire car, but on our arrival my wife travelled with Nicholas, while I drove behind, showing my wife the "where's and why's" of Adamas - beyond expectations. We had 7 nights of Nicholas's hospitality. One only has to stay one night to appreciate why Ageri-Milos is No 1 on Trip Advisor on the island of Milos. I would definitely recommend these apartments and would love to stay again some time.WhatsApp - Directly Contact - Details 24h - Photos- Reservations as well The management were very friendly and always greeted us with calimera or calispera as we were entering or exiting the property, and gave us sweets as a parting gift when we left. There are buses that go once or twice a day from the port. We managed without a car but if we visit again we would hire one as we didn't get to explore much of the island outside of Poros. It's just a short walk down the hill to the beach, and about a 20 minute walk into Poros centre along the sea front, which is also lined with many tavernas so you can stop for a drink or a bite to eat along the way. Because it is off the main road there is zero traffic noise or noise from tavernas. The location is on a steep hill but after the first couple of days it gets easier to climb it. Free wifi and air con which was very much needed in the heat. There is a pile of books and board games that you can borrow during your stay. The sea view was breathtaking and we spent several mornings sat on the balcony watching the sun come up over the horizon. Spotlessly clean and the cleaners came daily to make sure it stayed that way. The room was bigger than I was expecting, with a TV, small dining table and kitchenette and en suite bathroom. We were greeted warmly and given information about the property. Thanks to all who made our stay perfect even though we were not quite perfect ourselves.… I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel/apartments to anyone looking to stay in Poros which is quiet but nice and unpretentious. There was a walk up and down the hill each day which could be challenging to some people but we had a car for the 2 week duration and had no problems. Towels were soft and changed every 3 days. It was spotlessly clean and all the little touches (sweets!!) and shower curtain which actually didn’t flood the bathroom as usual was well thought out. We had an apartment each with mountain view. The apartments were spacious with a massive double bed and a small single bed. They had to call out a locksmith (on a Sunday) and had it fixed within a few hours – locksmith had an hour’s drive!!! I felt soo bad but they were so kind and gracious. I say this because after two days, I managed to leave the room leaving the key in the lock inside the room. I have never stayed anywhere with such lovely, patient, understanding hosts - a couple and their son, Dimitri. Myself and a friend stayed at Filoxenia Hotel & Apartments in Poros from 14th Sept for 2 weeks.
